Rolando Ocana Figueroa

Rolando Ocana Figueroa, 31, died earlier this week as a result of an automobile accident. Rolando, 31, lived in Lazy Glen and worked as a cook in a number of Snowmass Village restaurants for the past nine years. He also worked at the Tower Restaurant and the Sno Beach Cafe in recent years. Most recently he was working at the Big Hoss Grille on the Snowmass Village Mall.

He was originally from Veracruz, Mexico. He is survived by his wife, Estela Ramirez, daughters Itzel, 12, and Diana, 10, and son Bill, 2. His friends says he worked hard for his family, to get a good education for his daughters and so his family would have a good life.

There will be a funeral at 6 p.m. Wedneday (today) at Farnum-Holt Funeral Home in Glenwood Springs. Contributions to help the family cover the cost of the service can be brought to the funeral home.
