Dear Editor:This Saturday, July 7, the city of Aspen Canary Initiative and Hyatt Grand Aspen will present “Aspen: Face the Music,” a free live broadcast of Live Earth Concerts for Climates in Crisis. Live Earth is a 24-hour, seven-continent concert series designed to catalyze a global audience to cure the climate crisis. Over 150 top musicians from around the world will be performing, including Kanye West, Madonna, the Police, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more.This simulcast will be held in the Silver Circle Ice Rink in front of the Hyatt and will run from 3 until 9 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, so come and take a stand in supporting your planet.
