Robert Ronald Davis

Robert Ronald Davis was born in New York City, lived in Redstone, Colo. and passed away on May 1, 2012 in Houston, Texas, just after his 93rd birthday.

He attended CCNY, was drafted into U.S. Merchant Marine/Navy until 1945; and then served as a civilian until 1952. He was a senior divisional buyer with GM-SSG (MI) from 1954 until retirement. He was buried with military honors at Ft. Logan on May 8.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Yvonne; three grown children – Michael, Brian and Christine; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, with two more on the way.



A memorial service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church in Aspen at noon on Saturday, May 26, 2012.
