Robert Hubbell, Bonnie Scott earn Crown Mtn Park seats

Robert O. Hubbell and Bonnie Scott won election Tuesday to the Crown Mountain Park and Recreation District board of directors.

The unofficial results of the election show Hubbell received 98 votes and Scott collected 75.

Four candidates were running for two seats. Rodney Woefle received 40 votes while Bob C. Hubbell got 15. The two Hubbells in the race are not related.

Robert O. Hubbell is an incumbent on the park and recreation district’s board and currently serves at president. He also is president and CEO of Crawford Properties LLC, owner of commercial and residential property in El Jebel.

Scott is a graphic designer and co-owner of a midvalley restaurant.

Both election winners will serve four-year terms. They will join incumbents Ted Bristol, Katie Schwoerer and Rich Pavcek.
