Ringing in the money

Dear Editor:

On behalf of the local Salvation Army I wish to express our sincere appreciation to all, for the generous contributions, and the giving of personal time in tending a kettle. Your efforts raised $11,705 in the season of 2007 from the kettles at Clark’s and City Market in Aspen.

A special commendation to the Aspen Rotary Club volunteers, who tended a kettle and rang a bell. Special thanks to the managers at Clark’s, City Market and Alpine Bank, who took care of the collections.

To one and all, especially the individual volunteers and contributors, who helped in every way, large or small: Thank you and God bless! May your gift of sharing be returned many times, and may your gift of caring, bring you abundant blessings. God bless you and your families.

Best wishes for a happy new year.
