RFTA’s excellent customer service

Going downvalley on RFTA Oct. 18 to catch a train, I dropped the case for my glasses when I changed buses. The dispatcher found the case within minutes after I left the terminal.

He radioed to the bus driver, a gentleman who was probably more comfortable speaking Spanish. Working through the driver and the dispatcher, I was able to give RFTA my address in Illinois. A few days later the eyeglasses arrived in Illinois.

To me this was a wonderful illustration of what makes Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley great. Resourceful and diverse people who are alert and able to get the job done. A bus system, free for a senior like me, with a customer orientation.
