RFTA to the rescue

Dear Editor:

I want to say thank you to Bill at RFTA dispatch for getting us home July 31.

Being stuck in Glenwood in 92-degree heat with 33 hot children wasn’t what we had planned for the day. After a round of putt-putt golf and beautiful up-dos at the beauty academy, it was time to get back to Basalt. Upon arriving at the bus stop, we were informed that the road was closed due to a trailer fire, so we walked to another stop. There we found a car accident. Not fire nor accident, or even road closure prevented RFTA from coming to our rescue.

On behalf of all of us stranded, thank you for getting us home safe and sound!
