Reward for hit-and-run info

GLENWOOD SPRINGS ” A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest or prosecution in a hit-and-run Saturday in Glenwood Springs.

The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office announced the reward Tuesday morning. Anyone can remain anonymous and contact Glenwood Springs police at 384-6500, Garfield County Crimestoppers at 945-0101, or through the Internet at http://www.glenwoodpolice.com/tips.

A passing motorist struck Paul Driskill in the 3300 block of old Grand Avenue near the Rosebud Cemetery then fled, leaving Driskill severely injured by the side of the road.

He’s currently recovering at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction.
