Restoring our ecosystem
Dear Editor:The Sierra Club has been working to reintroduce wolves into Colorado for the past five years. I was glad to see Tony Vagneur’s article (Aspen Times, March 19).With all the scientific evidence from Yellowstone National Park demonstrating that having wolves back in the ecosystem heals the wounds of a failing system, you’d think we humans would take heed and move to reintroduce these magnificent animals to Colorado. But alas, it will also take a generosity of heart and spirit to tolerate this predator. With hope, we can have the heart and utilize the knowledge while restoring our ecosystem’s health. Current and future generations will surely thank us.Tina ArapkilesSierra Club Southwest Regional OfficeBoulder
