Rep. Curry makes Glenwood stop

GLENWOOD SPRINGS ” State Rep. Kathleen Curry will come to Glenwood Springs Thursday to talk about happenings at the Colorado Legislature and topics including the state budget and transportation.

Curry, D-Gunnison, plans to host a town hall meeting style event Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Glenwood Springs Community Center, along with Speaker of the House Terrance Carroll and Garfield County Commissioner Tresi Houpt.

The event includes “an update on the 2009 Legislative session including the topics of the budget and transportation. The community is invited to participate. Please bring your questions and ideas,” said an e-mail from a Colorado House Majority public relations director.
