Renew the mill levy
Dear Editor:
There has been some confusion over the actual use of the funds from the Aspen Valley hospital mill levy reauthorization vote ending this May 4. As has been the case for the past 15 years the mill levy funds are used only for operating expenses; they will continue to be so used. They are not for hospital facility expansion expenditures.
All voters should have received a mail in ballot to vote. If a voter cannot locate his/her ballot, please contact the hospital district at 544-1262 or go to the district office in the hospital to get a ballot to be sure that your vote counts in this important medical care election.
