Remembering Gabriel

Dear Editor:

We lost a dear friend Wednesday. Gabriel Hilliard’s enthusiasm to enjoy life and to seek out adventures remained until his last moments. Skiing untracked terrain and charging down the slopes are moments he endlessly sought out and always brag about to his friends.

I guarantee there was a huge smile on his face as he was thinking, “This is life!” A genuine soul, kind friend, determined professional and just an overall good person. Gabe will be missed by all the people who had the pleasure to get to know him. We are planning a memorial for Gabriel but have not finalized a date, time or location. Please check the paper in the next few days for his obituary that will announce the details.

Gabe, we miss you bro, and “word ’em up!”

Dan Andrews
