Basalt Fire Department calls
The following are the fire and medical calls that the Basalt Fire Department responded to from July 27 through Aug. 2.
July 27 at 10:27 a.m. — The hazardous-materials crew was called to downtown Basalt for a suspicious barrel of an unknown substance leaking in a parking lot. The team contained the spill and eliminated the potential hazard to the public.
July 27 at 12:38 p.m. — An ambulance was called to the bike path along Two Rivers Road for a man with injuries from a bike crash. He was transported to the hospital for further care.
July 29 at 9:39 a.m. — An ambulance was called to the El Jebel Mobile Home Park for a man with seizure-like symptoms. He was assessed and released on scene.
July 30 at 3:07 a.m. — An ambulance was called to the El Jebel Mobile Home Park for a man who was sick. He was transported to the hospital for further care.
July 30 at 4:46 p.m. — An ambulance was called to downtown Basalt for a man with chest pains. He was transported to the hospital for further care.
July 31 at 10:50 p.m. — An ambulance was called to Willits for a woman who was sick. She was assessed and released on scene.
Aug. 2 at 3:09 a.m. — An ambulance was called to El Jebel for a woman with seizure-like symptoms. She was assessed and released to local police.
Aug. 2 at 10:11 a.m. — An ambulance was called to the El Jebel Mobile Home Park for an unresponsive female. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Aug. 2 at 11:26 p.m. — An ambulance was called to Missouri Heights for a man who was sick. He was transported to the hospital for further care.
