Ready to get back to work
Please excuse my tardiness in writing. I’ve been catching up on my real job, catching my breath and letting the May 6 election results sink in.
I simply cannot thank you and the entire community enough for your faith in me and for giving me the opportunity to serve you again on the City Council.
I look forward to tackling the many issues before us in a renewed climate of collaboration, cooperation, openness, trust and respect. I truly believe that every day is a new day, full of new possibilities for a brighter, better future for our town.
I believe that the times call for all of us to put old grudges, attitudes, perceptions and power games behind us and to work together as never before. Aspen’s faltering economic and community vitality call all of us to move forward in a constructive and unified manner, thoughtfully, effectively and swiftly.
Know that I want to and need to hear your thoughts, ideas and concerns as we go forward. I believe that each and every citizen has a role to play in solving our challenges, and both welcome and respectfully request your continued support in that regard.
My phone number is in the book and my e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org. Please feel free to contact me; I will return calls as quickly as possible and do my best to serve you and the best interest our town.
