Read ’em and weep

Dear Editor:

October 2008, Vice President Cheney whispers, “Now!” and President Bush delightedly declares war on Iran, catapulting John McCain into the presidency in November.

A vote-hungry Congress, led by Nancy Pelosi, docile and compliant, rolls over without a whimper.

How will this nightmare become terrifying reality? In the same way the same deceivers tricked us into Iraq.

Read Seymour Hersh in the current New Yorker. Buy Vincent Bugliosi’s calm and legally solid “The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder” (Vanguard 2008).

Read them and weep, for the world and for ourselves.
