Rappaport ready to lead Basalt

Dear Editor:

Glenn knows how to listen.

We hired Glenn to be the architect of our new home in Basalt eight years ago. We chose Glenn not only for his unique architectural style but because he listened to us. From our very first meeting, it was clear that he was willing to collaborate with our vision of how we wanted the house to be. He led us across the tightrope of building a house and made us laugh along the way.

When the job was completed on time, our marriage and friendship with Glenn was very much intact, a feat that is rare after such a rigorous process. Our family cherishes the friendship that was formed during those years with Glenn and his beautiful family.

We are voting for Glenn Rappaport for mayor of Basalt. We know from our experience with him that he will keep an open mind and listen to all sides of an issue before taking action.
