Carbondale resident Randy Colestock died Aug. 9 in Park City, Utah. He was 31 years old.

Colestock was born in Aspen on Aug. 9, 1968 to Dottie and Gil Colestock. He graduated from Roaring Fork High School and Western State College.

He had been a resident of Park City since 1996. Prior to that he lived in Carbondale.

Colestock is survived by his mother, of Carbondale; sister Beth Strudley and her husband, Bill, of Christchurch, New Zealand; and nephew William Strudley of Christchurch. He was preceded in death by his father.

His friends are invited to share in remembering his life at his mother’s home, at 113 7th St. in Carbondale, on Aug. 28 at 2 p.m.
