Random thoughts

Dear Editor:

1. North Forty: The owners need to care for their “children’s memorial park” before asking for help on the soccer field.

2. Firing of Basalt teachers: It’s scary that the teachers in support of the fired teachers have to share their feelings anonymously for fear of being fired themselves (Aspen was the same way).

3. Dog day for Krabloonik critics: How sad the Snowmass council ruled against the dogs, and pathetic the welfare of the dogs is a low priority for Councilman Reed Lewis.

4. Construction workers: I counted 27 vehicles at the first house on the right going up McLain Flats!

5. Hiking Smuggler: Get some free entertainment watching people struggling to park 30 yards closer to start walking by refusing to park in the lower lot.
