Random acts of kindness

Dear Editor:My name is Hana Maclean and I am a sophomore at Aspen High School. I am writing this letter in regards to the recent school shooting in Colorado. Aspen is one of the safest places that I know of and that is why I love it so much. The kids of Platte Canyon High School probably thought the same thing until one girl was killed.I read an article in the newspaper that said that the parents of Emily Keyes (the victim) asked for one favor, and that favor was for everyone to participate in random acts of kindness. To recover from a daughter’s death and only ask for kindness to be spread is remarkable.Hana MacleanAspen
