Rall a stain on the Times

I have been reading Ted Rall’s rants, on and off since you began publishing him, because I like to know what the dangerous lunatic fringe says and thinks. Unfortunately, people of low intelligence can be influenced by people like Ted Rall.

I respect Ted’s right to believe and say anything he wants to. I don’t respect your newspaper for giving this person a forum to spread his hatred and vitriol. Many of his statements are slanderous and are factually in error. You should be ashamed of yourselves and I don’t know how you, as a newspaper, can be taken seriously publishing garbage like his column in the September 30 Times. In fact, I don’t take you seriously.

Why not publish some of David Duke’s opinions on your pages? By doing that you could add them together and divide by two and then claim some semblance of balance.

I don’t expect much balance from a newspaper in Aspen, but I’d like to think that you’d steer clear of making your editorial page irrelevant and a mouthpiece for the radical left. Guess not.
