Race for the Cure is Saturday in Aspen

ASPEN – The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure will take place Saturday in Aspen.

New this year is a 10-kilometer foot race, which starts at 8 a.m. The five-kilometer race begins at 8:45 a.m.

Visit http://www.komenaspen.org for more details, or sign up at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at Rio Grande Park, where the races begin and end.

Other events on tap include the Zumba warm-ups at 7:45 a.m. and 8:15 a.m., the survivor celebration at 7:45 a.m., the silent auction at 8:30 a.m., Paws for the Cure at 9 a.m., the 1-Mile Family Fun Walk at 9:30 a.m., the Komen Kids 100-Yard Dash at 10 a.m. and the awards ceremony at 10:15 a.m.
