Quittin’ time
Dear Editor:
I’m not Catholic but it is my understanding that during Lent good Catholics are urged to give up something until Easter, such as booze or desert or maybe a bad habit. At any rate, I have a few suggestions for Lent:
l. The PUC could give up harassing Phil (free taxi) Sullivan.
2. Catholic Priests could give up young boys. That entire situation is disgusting.
3. Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., could give up holding Congressional hearings.
That’s a short list. I’m certain readers of this paper could create much more extensive lists.
