DENVER ” A protest group says Public Enemy will play a concert in a downtown Denver park during the Democratic National Convention.

Recreate 68, an umbrella organizations for groups planning protests during the convention, said Monday Public Enemy will play Aug. 26, the convention’s second day, at Civic Center park about a mile from the convention site.

Last week, Rage Against the Machine announced it would play a concert at an anti-war music festival in Denver on Aug. 27.

Recreate 68 also said anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan will appear at a rally in Denver on Sunday, a day before the convention opens.

The convention runs from Aug. 25 to Aug. 28.
