Preserve our characters

As a supporter of the modified-direct alignment, I wish to thank Bill Stirling, Mark Harvey and Terry Paulson for their civil, yet heartfelt, presentation in favor of the S-curves in Tuesday night’s debate.

I believe they are sincere in their argument that the S-curves will preserve small town character. That being said, I continue to believe that preserving small town characters, not congested alignments, will preserve our character.

I urge all city and county residents to vote early at the clerk’s office this week or next, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. I hope you will vote for the future of transit by supporting the modified-direct.

Pitkin County Commissioner
