ASPEN – The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) will hold its annual Travel & Tourism Conference this week in Aspen. The conference runs Tuesday through Friday at The St. Regis Aspen Resort, and will include members of the PRSA’s Travel & Tourism Section Executive Committee, representing destinations, hospitality organizations, food and beverage companies, as well as independent public relations practitioners.Travel and tourism colleagues will gather at the conference to:• Learn how other industry executives are achieving more with less.• Discover cutting-edge tactics from key media and professional development experts.• Determine how to stay ahead of the competition with the latest social media applications.Sessions on the hottest topics in travel and tourism communications will include:• “Luxury Still Matters: How to Promote High-End Properties to Media”• “What Travel & Tourism PR People Still Don’t Get About Social Media”• “Broadcasting Your Business: Brand Storytelling with Broadcast Media”• “Reaching Key Influencers Where They Live (Online)”Conference attendees will also meet and network with key media from outlets including USA Today, Travel Channel, and ABC News.
