Powder Fix

Photographer Jacob Ramsden captured this picture of Greg Fitzsimmons plowing through a wind-loaded stash Saturday on Walsh’s on Aspen Mountain. After scant snow since early January, powder-starved skiers and riders finally got their fix. Skiers reported about 4 inches of snow with deeper pockets on Aspen Mountain at 1 p.m. with the snow still falling. A winter storm is supposed to dump an additional 10 to 20 inches on the central mountains by late Monday evening.
