Postal service a joke

Dear Editor:

Hank Gray’s complaint about how “closing the Sunday operation” has negatively affected post-office box holders on that day. But his claims that he “follows the creed to provide flawless service, that the prestige of the postal service is at stake and that closing creates a negative image of me and the post office” is a joke!

Mr. Gray’s negative image is only a reflection of himself. Ever try to get a passport with a handicapped kid after knee surgery who is using crutches and has to stand while waiting? I did and ended up going to the Glenwood Springs post office because it was easier and a more pleasant experience.
