Poor form by Aspen realtors

Dear Editor:

Shame on the Aspen Board of Realtors. The fact that common courtesy has become a rarity is news to no one, and the six-day Down Valley Tour of Homes arranged by the Aspen Board of Realtors is certainly a fine example. The ABR scheduled time slots, with dozens of people from Aspen to Parachute, to show their homes to a group of local realtors.

My wife and I, like many of others, were definitely disappointed, if not angered, by the absence of professionalism that is expected from this board. In these economic times the amount of money that individuals and businesses spent on lost man hours, lost wages, extra vehicles because you carpool … (you get the idea), would at least deserve a phone call. When you make an appointment, keep it. Or, oh yeah, call.
