Poll: What should the county do about dog poop on Aspen’s Smuggler Mountain?
The dog poop problem has returned on Smuggler Mountain just one month after volunteers cleaned it up. This week’s poll question asks readers what can be done to fix the mess on Smuggler.
Go to http://www.aspentimes.com, on the left side below the news carousel, to find this week’s question and the results of previous polls.
Last week’s poll question — “Do newspaper endorsements matter?” — brought in 916 votes. The majority of voters — 628, or nearly 69 percent — said “no,” they make voting decisions based on their own research. About 22 percent of the votes, or 201, said they matter sometimes, but they don’t necessarily influence their votes. The remaining 9.5 percent, or 87 votes, said “yes,” they consider endorsements when they vote.
