Political telepathy?

Dear Editor:Obviously the City Council has extraordinary means of communication with the Paepckes! Do they have a fabulous new technical cell phone or e-mail to heaven, or do they employ some magical psychic who is able to read the minds of those who have departed their lives in Aspen? Surely, of all people, the Paepckes would want the Aspen Historical Society to be financially able to preserve the story of what and who has made Aspen what it is today and will be in the future. It would be advantageous for everyone involved to have the City Council revisit their decision regarding the Aspen Historical Society. Their present position helps destroy our history – it does nothing to keep it alive for all of us who care, now and for years to come!Nancy C. OdnAspen
