Police bust man on felony drug charges

Aspen Times Staff Report

Aspen police arrested a man Thursday evening who was allegedly involved in a marijuana-growing operation.

Kevin Decarlo, 30, was arrested for felony marijuana manufacturing, felony marijuana distribution, felony possession of more than eight ounces of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and an unspecified “special offender” charge, according to detention officer Rick Buesch with the Pitkin County Jail.

Police refused to comment on the Decarlo’s arrest, saying the case is under investigation.

As of 8 p.m. Thursday, Decarlo remained in custody in the jail on a $37,550 bond, according to a jail official.
