Jan. 30 — Police issued Jeff Posey, 48, of Aspen, an Aspen Municipal Court summons for littering and theft of service after the city’s Environmental Health Department investigated the illegal dumping of items at the Rio Grande Recycling Center.

Jan. 30 — Police responded to a report of a disturbance at Eric’s Bar. Christopher Roberts, 34, of Aspen, was arrested, transported to the Pitkin County Jail and issued an Aspen Municipal Court summons for trespassing and disorderly conduct-fighting.

Jan. 30 — Police responded to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. Joseph McMenimen, 38, of Snowmass Village, was arrested, transported to the Pitkin County Jail and issued an Aspen Municipal Court summons for making false reports.



Sunday — Police responded to a report of an assault at Highlands Alehouse. Manuel Ramirez-Covarrubias, 31, of El Jebel, was arrested, taken to the Pitkin County Jail and issued an Aspen Municipal Court summons for assault and battery.

Tuesday — Police contacted Jason Chung, 27, of Aspen, after witnessing suspicious behavior. Chung was arrested, transported to the Pitkin County Jail and held on a failure-to-appear warrant from Pitkin County.




Wednesday — Police responded to a report of a trespassing at Belly Up Aspen. Colin Files, 23, of Portland, Maine, was arrested, taken to the Pitkin County Jail and issued an Aspen Municipal Court summons for trespassing and disorderly conduct-fighting.
