Planning website for Aspen-Pitkin airport goes live
December 14, 2009
ASPEN – The Aspen-Pitkin County Airport’s new planning website – http://www.aspenairportplanning.com – is now live.
It is intended to keep community members and airport users informed about current and future projects, including the master plan update and runway extension, and to promote community involvement in future planning.
The website includes information about the three current planning projects at the airport: the environmental assessment for a potential runway expansion, the master plan update and the climate action plan. Information on construction projects at the airport is also available, and a calendar offers a timeline of projects and events, including public meetings.
The website also makes documents related to airport planning, such as public presentations, chapters of the environmental assessment and the greenhouse gas inventory, available for downloading.
Citizens can also offer feedback through the website.
