Plain and simple, it’s stealing

(This letter was originally addressed to the Pitkin County Commissioners.)

Your guest editorials and recent meeting on downzoning have just proven some of the points I made in my letter to you all, dated March 7.

Mick Ireland and County Commissioners, I don’t think you learned how to add and subtract when you went to school. You only studied talking out of the side of your mouth with pages of corrupt legalese. You are totally dealing with the wrong equation, and that dealing from the bottom of the deck is one of the major factors that makes the USA “A CORRUPT CAPITALISTIC PROTECTION RACKET.”

To illustrate my point, when one has something one day, and 98 percent of it disappears because of the stroke of the pen, the next morning their pocket has been picked. THAT’S A TAKING AND TAKING IS STEALING!

Why is it so hard for you not to give equivalency TDRs? What is it out of your, or the county’s, pocket? What is your corrupt agenda here? You are the terrorist, terrorizing your own neighbors!

And you have been terrorizing me for years by not enforcing your Ecological Bill of Rights and NOISE LAWS (jets noise, Highway 82 truck Jake brake noise, dump pistol range noise and the disrespectful river rafting guide noise, disrespectful rafter noise, disrespectful rafter company owner noise, and on and on).
