Pitkin County Commissioner race: The latest campaign finance report

Pitkin County commissioner candidates reported campaign finance data Tuesday, with candidate Scott Writer outraising and outspending opponent Greg Poschman.
Writer reported $10,229 in total campaign contributions between July 28 and Oct. 13. Poschman, who reported $2,900.61 on hand at the beginning of the reporting period, raised $5,870 during the same time period for a total of $8,770.61 raised.
Poschman has spent less than Writer, but Poschman still has funds available while Writer is in the red.
Writer has spent $10,726.92 on his campaign so far, putting him $497.92 in the hole.
Poschman has spent $7,964.87, leaving $805.74 left in the bank.
The next report, covering funds raised between Oct. 14 and Oct. 30, is due Nov. 4.
