Pitkin County advisory board needs members

PITKIN COUNTY ” Pitkin County is seeking seven volunteers to serve on the newly established Healthy Rivers and Streams Fund Advisory Board.

The board will assist Pitkin County commissioners in administering the Healthy Rivers and Streams Fund Program and in furthering the goals of the program as authorized by county voters. The program’s goals include maintaining and improving water quality and quantity within the Roaring Fork watershed.

Of the seven board members, five must be residents of Pitkin County. The remaining two board members must be residents of the Roaring Fork Valley watershed. To download an application, go to http://www.aspenpitkin.com/depts/9. The deadline to respond is June 22.
