Awards for Winter Windows also announced
A Retro Party at the Viewline Resort Snowmass closed out Wintersköl on Sunday and celebrated the 57th anniversary of Snowmass Ski Area’s opening day.
The apres celebration also included a retro ski outfit competition and the awards ceremony for Winter Windows.
“This has been great. It’s been an awesome look for the retailers participating. It turned out really well,” said Executive Director of Buckhorn Public Arts Tim Sack. “Ten windows now for the season that are programmed art from our community members.”
The artist that won the Winter Wonderland category for the Winter Windows is Liz Busch, whose art was showcased at Guapo Dog.
Samantha Alter at 81615 T-Shirts won the Community Character category.
Artist Augustina Mistretta at Incline Ski Shop and Kaylee Bowlby at Viewline Resort Ski Lockers also won categories with their winter windows.
And Snowmass Town Council member Britta Gustafson and her daughter won second place in the retro ski outfit competition.
