It was a great first day of competition at the 2018 Toyota U.S. Grand Prix in Snowmass. Men and women’s snowboard slopestyle finals took place in the morning after a lengthy weather delay and the final feature being shutdown. Next came the freeski guys and ladies halfpipe finals that saw an American sweep in the men’s finals, including hometown skier Alex Ferreira taking second.
