The 24th Annual Trashmasters Golf Tournament was held Friday at The Snowmass Club. The âThe Worldâs Most Unique Golf Tournamentâ is a fundraiser for college scholarships. The tournament rewards strange and bizarre golf play and attracts players from all over the country in pursuit of the coveted âgold jacket.â The "Most Stupendous Trash" was earned by Simon Dewsbury for his amazing "Super Greenie Stiffie Watson Otis" for a total of 18 points.

The 2016 division winners were Roddy Rodgers in the Seniorâs Division, Ricky âthe Bladeâ Reh in the Menâs Division,Karen Heckman in the Womenâs Division, and Matt Deam triumphed for the Championship trophy â again!

The tournament rewards strange and bizarre golf play and attracts players from all over the country in pursuit of the coveted “gold jacket.” The “Most Stupendous Trash” was earned by Simon Dewsbury for his amazing “Super Greenie Stiffie Watson Otis” for a total of 18 points.

Aspen City Council approved a contract with Daniel Joseph (DJ) Watkins during Tuesday’s regular meeting to move forward with his intentions to operate his proposed “Aspen Collective,” which is currently occupied by Mia Valley’s Valley Fine Art.
