A group of hikers spotted a moose about two miles from the Conundrum trailhead on Wednesday. "Several hikers gathered to marvel at this creature and I think he was doing the same," said Basalt residente Janine Whiterell, who shot the photo. "We were all so excited and most had not seen a moose before."
