Photo: Lost Dog in Basalt

This rat terrier/chihuahua mix named Arwen went missing near 160 Village Court in Basalt on Sunday. She was last seen heading toward Arbaney Park. Arwen is about 10 pounds, all white with a black head. She's about 1 year old. Her owners are visiting Basalt from Ohio. They believe she could be hiding somewhere to keep warm and are asking folks to look in garages, sheds, window wells, exterior basement stairs or underneath cars. She is wearing a collar with her name, owners' address and phone number. If you see her, contact Maureen Heis at 847-338-3162, Tom Heis at 513-460-6075, or Mary Anne O'Toole at 224-636-3162.
