The iconic Snowmass Balloon Festival returned for its 48th year in Snowmass Village between Sept. 22-24. Friday morning’s flights were canceled due to high winds, but Saturday’s flights and festivities more than made up for it. This Rocky Mountain tradition features three days of 30 or more balloons launching into the air amidst the sunrise and the stunning background of Snowmass in the fall.
