A snowcat pushes snow across the base of Buttermilk Friday afternoon. The mountain opens today with top-to-bottom skiing and riding across 125 acres of terrain. Aspen Highlands also opens today with about 700 acres, including a large portion of Highland Bowl. About 2 to 4 inches of snow could fall tonight, according to the National Weather Service, and there's also a 70 percent chance of snow tomorrow.
