Peters, Weiner wed
Molly Martha Peters and Jason Paul Weiner were married Saturday evening, June 27, at the Lynn Britt Cabin on Snowmass Mountain. The Reverend Dorothy Thau officiated.
The bride, 31, is a fine artist who established a studio for young artists in Brooklyn. She also works at Fette Sowe, the best barbecue restaurant in the five boroughs. She graduated from Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Fla., and has shown her works in numerous shows and galleries as well as films.
The bride’s father, Mike Peters, is the Pulitzer-winning editorial cartoonist and creator of the comic strip, Mother Goose and Grimm. Her mother, Marian Peters, is president of Griimmy, Inc. They reside in Orlando and Snowmass.
The groom, 35, works as a sales and marketing attache at Constantine Carpet. He attended Georgia State University.
His parents, Dr. and Mrs. Robert Weiner, live in Atlanta. Dr. Weiner is the iconoclastic founder and CEO of Constantine Carpet Co.
The Reverend Dorothy Thau, a parapsychologist, along with her husband, Harold Thau, were founders of John Denver’s Windstar Foundation in Old Snowmass.
