Ask any Aspenite why they live here and, along with the skiing and the summers, they’ll all say “the people.” By and large, locals are a bunch of overgrown children (think skiing, cycling, trail-running, climbing and all the rest) who happen to be smart, creative and well-educated. They’re the embodiment of the Aspen Idea linking mind, body and spirit. Here are a few of them who appeared in the paper this year.
