Aspen, CO ColoradoPaul David Cunningham passed away June 15, 2007, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction. He was born March 31, 1962, in Boulder, to Alan and Louise Cunningham.

He lived in Denver for 17 years and in the Roaring Fork Valley for the past 18 years.As a chef, he loved preparing and eating good food, and will be remembered throughout the valley for his cooking at local restaurants including the Parlor Car, Charlemagne’s, Ute City Bank, the Snowmass Conference Center, Back Door Catering, Guido’s and the Pitkin County Senior Center, which he loved so much. He also loved writing music and the great outdoors.

He is survived by his parents; partner Lisa Newman; dog Sam; and his best friend, Tommy Hancock of Austin, Texas.

There will be a memorial service from noon to 3 p.m., Sunday, July 15, at Veltus Park in Glenwood Springs.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Paul D. Cunningham Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank in Glenwood Springs.
