Patti Cayo Mann

Patti Cayo Mann, 57, of Carbondale passed away Oct. 5, 2010 at her second home in Loma, Colo.

Patti was born in Detroit, Michigan, on Aug. 25, 1953 to Carl and Dr. Dorothy Killian. She spent her childhood in Michigan and Minnesota, showing horses.

She lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for 30 years and worked as a controller for several local businesses. Patti married her second husband, Bob Mann, of Basalt, in 1992, became a stepmom and eventually a grandmother. Patti and Bob have spent many happy years together, raised several dogs and thrown many parties, but fixing up their second home in Loma made her the happiest. She is known for her culinary skills and enjoyed cooking for everyone and recently volunteered for various organizations.



Patti is survived by her husband, Bob; children Laura and Rob Mann; daughter-in-law Tamara Mann; grandchildren Ashley and Jaycob Mann, of Denver; her sister, Suzanne LaPlant; nieces Ann and Robin; and nephew Michael of Grand Rapids.

Memorial services will be held at Farnum-Holt Funeral Home, 405 W. Seventh St., Glenwood Springs, Colo. on Oct. 16 at 4 p.m.
