Aspen, CO ColoradoPatrick Leto, 50, of Blue Lake passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2007. He was born in St. Joseph, Mich., on Aug. 15, 1956. Patrick moved to Denver in the ’70s, and moved to the valley in 1980. He worked at Shadowbrook Condominiums in Snowmass Village. Patrick married his best friend, Katie, in 1986, and was the proud and loving father of Alicia and Ryan. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, dirt biker and Mini Cooper enthusiast.Patrick is survived by his wife; daughter, Alicia, 18; son, Ryan, 16; mother, Marvella Leto of Michigan; brother, Dennis (Robin) Leto, of Arizona; sister, Luann Leto of Michigan, mother-in-law, Rita Kingsley of Florida; brothers-in-law, Rick and Bill Kingsley, of Florida; Tom (Ingrid) and Ron Kingsley of New York; Greg Kingsley of Hawaii; sisters-in-law, Maureen Hill (Brian) and Carol and Christine Kingsley of Florida; nephews, Brad and Greg Leto of Arizona; D.J. and Dale Zech of Michigan, and Karst Kingsley of New York; and niece, Nicole Kingsley of New York. He is also survived by a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry “Hank” Leto.Services were took place Sunday, April 29, 2007, at Farnum-Holt Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood Springs, officiated by family friend Gideon Kaufman. Cremation has taken place and Patrick’s ashes will be spread on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.Contributions may be made to the Patrick Leto Memorial Fund at Alpine Bank.
