Patricia A. Banc, 66, died peacefully Sept. 2 at West Park Hospital in Cody, Wyo. after a short battle with leukemia.

Pattie spent most of her life in Cleveland where she worked as a nurse at Hillcrest Hospital before moving to Colorado and then Wyoming, where she continued her nursing career and was able to enjoy her love of the outdoors. She was a devoted girlfriend, a dedicated mother, a loving grandmother, and a loyal and true friend.

Pattie is survived by her beloved partner, Joe Maynard; was the loving mother of Thomas and Timothy; dearest grandmother of Tanner Banc, Cody Banc, Taylor Banc, Hallie Banc, and Jordan Banc; loving mother-in-law to Kelly Hickman Banc; dear sister to Peter Cuccia, Dennis Cuccia, and Thom Cuccia; dear aunt, great aunt and friend to many.

Rosary services will be held at The Church of St. Anthony on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011 at 7 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at The Church of St. Anthony in Cody on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 at 10 a.m. with Father Vernon Clark as celebrant. An online guestbook is available at
