Party over country?

Dear Editor: This election you get to make a choice. You can choose to vote with your party and re-elect the worst president in this nation’s history or you can choose to vote your conscience and help reunite the nation and rebuild America’s global respect.Voting for George Bush, despite his obvious failings and failures, is a vote to further erode America’s global standing and further divide and already-on-edge populace. If you really want to vote for a perpetual vacationer who ignores NSA warnings of imminent threats to national security, then that is your right. But in so doing, you are proving that you care more for your party than you do for your country. Frank RichardsonCarbondale
